ToMax for the Eyes
We are very honoured to have an in-house artist these days. Probably the most coherent series of posters have been the 'Bathtub 2 Boardroom' series, about enterprise. They make use of the motif of a light-bulb and have become increasingly striking. The first poster in the series was designed by Tom Fenley, thereafter Mariana de Lemos, a wandering Portugese Artist.
The idea of the series is clearly about taking an idea had in the bath to fruition, here the poster gives the audience a good sense of what might happen to them after attending an Enterprise ToMax.
The building a brand poster took our posters in a simple, striking direction.
The web here is from a photograph of wool strings.
Here the ideas are spread on toast. Brilliant. Nice to have a square one two. Don't get Moonpig cards like this!
This is the poster for 23rd May. We resisted the Pizza-Express logo! Some ideas might end up hurting. The spiky things, says the artist, were inspired by the objects which carry risk in Tom and Jerry. Next in the series is 'Bringing it here, taking it there' an evening about importing and exporting goods with cultural essence. I wonder what the poster will look like.
